All QualTrain celebrancy courses have been created for the purpose of helping celebrants learn how to develop ceremonies for Love, Life and Loss – to honour life’s significant events from marriage to funerals and everything in between. We’ll also help enhance your practice skills by utilising a workplace-based approach that shows you how to effectively embrace challenge, change and opportunity.

Our celebrant courses are offered through a combination of face-to-face training lasting a total of nine days, along with self-paced online study. Support is provided throughout the training program via our Facebook page designed especially for students, via email or over the phone.
Our flexible training is ideal for busy people who are interested in starting a new career, those who are semi-retired or people working full-time who are seeking registration as a marriage celebrant.

What to Expect As A QualTrain Student
Students will receive an introduction to the course completely free of obligation. Online enrolment is quick and easy, taking the guesswork out of signing up, and simplifying the process so you can go on to what really matters: the training itself.
Another perk is the lack of big up-front costs. You won’t receive any unwanted surprises when enrolling in any of our celebrant courses. The offered support is ongoing, ensuring help is available when you need to ask questions or find valuable information.
CHC41015 Certificate IV in Celebrancy learning is a blend of self-paced via our e-learning website and face-to-face in the classroom, so you can access the information whenever and wherever works best for you. We use a modern e-learning website environment, as well as enjoyable, interactive face-to-face learning experience totaling nine days in the classroom. This provides flexible time frames for completing the course.
Once the training is complete, students can confidently apply to become a Commonwealth Registered Celebrant through the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department.
Completing QualTrain Courses
The Cert IV Celebrancy course package is comprised of two components, one in-person and the other online. The face-to-face component of the course is offered in Perth. The additional online study takes a minimum of three months to complete. The minimum requirements of the certification do not currently allow for completion of the course entirely online.
Qualtrain’s Ongoing Professional Development innovative range of activities ranging between 1 – 3 hours in duration are held at different times throughout the year and in various locations. They include both compulsory units and courses that you seek to refine and develop your skills to streamline and expand your capabilities. In 2019 however, there will not be a compulsory activity.
